Great job. and it's much neater than any quad or FPV setup I've made before.Just a quick correction though, circularly polarized antennas do not transmit in all directions, if you face the top of the antenna towards the vehicle or craft the range will be largely reduced, they also work best if both antennas are parallel. But if you're using a ground station this wouldn't make a difference. I'd also use a pagoda antenna, They seem to have the best range at the moment and are circularly polarized. there also fairly cheapGreat tutorial though. Nice Work!
I have just setup mine. the soldering is widely and it does not look great but i made it with old wires from around the house. and it works great. I haven't tested how robust it is yet but i found that putting some epoxy over the connectors made them stay apart the hot glue is not really needed. but it's good for support.Thanks for the instructable!
