Texas vs. Pacific NW.......? as a sunbelt kid & commercial fisherman, I choose cactus on a dry day over a wet sunless day :)

To each his own, I wish I could handle the heat better. One can always put on more layers or raingear, but one can only take so much off. I get heat exhaustion about two dozen times each summer.

Good point. The heat attacked me last week while unprepared. When you slip, you do pay a price.
