I'm kind of weird I guess, I was that girl wandering around with nail polish tattoos, folding paper stars, signing jokes to the deaf kid, covering her planner in gum wrapper foil, weaving her BFF a new bracelet, painting water colors for presentations written in prose, dancing through the rain induced waterfalls to dive into giant puddles only to wander into class dripping wet, freezing, and smiling rainbows.
I ♥ this site. I found it 2 days ago and am totally enthralled. This... gah this site is the coolest freaking thing in the known interweb and I just am so psyched my shadows bouncing off the walls cause I have to sit here and type. I've already made like 500 paper beads, am half done with an exploding box for my mom's x-mas present, and have a home salon date with my BFF for sugar waxing.
I was always the weird girl wandering around alone, oblivious, and kind of confusing and alienating others with creative impulses. It's really uplifting to find such a creative, active and industrious community of people who love to just MAKE things.
I'll tell you one thing, you certainly make me smile.
