    Simple and Handy Toolbox

This is very close to the size and shape of a tool tote I banged together about 40 years ago, and I still use it. Yours shows craftsmanship, I just needed something I could make quickly to carry a bunch of hand tools out of the house. My point being, the simplicity of these designs will hold up and they are comfortable to carry, not just a stylish throw back to the old days.I made sure the dowel handle was thick enough for big hands and that it can rotate freely so when lifting and carrying, it doesn't resist and chafe the hand. I also had a typical steel tool box with a thin bent rod handle. Another option depending on what a person plans to carry in the tote.

Sweet. I was expecting some instructions on time consuming vacuum forming but you managed it free hand with a heat gun and glue. For a one off, that's the way to go.I like to check out every aisle at the dollar store when my imagine needs raw materials. e.g. cut up an office waste basket for the steel mesh to replace damaged cooling grills for my motorcycle.

Big time. Acetone is one of those solvents that will burn invisibly and flares up way faster than gasoline or varsol (paint thinner). You won't know what hit you. That's when it's not being a carcinogen on contact. Get learned people.I have uses for acetone and another nasty, MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone), but I give them a lot of respect and always open to hearing about alternatives.

When I was in my 20's and watching the movies like Animal House or Porky's, one got the impression it would be cool to crush an empty beer can by ramming it against your forehead, just like in the movies. Many a Canadian found out the hard way that Americans had moved on to alumunim cans while we were still using steel. :)

The Only knot you need to know.

I clicked in because the title lead me to think it was for beginners "If you only learn one knot . . . "So please act like I know nothing (bingo) and don't forget to explain the terminology. Standing end, bight, spill ????Then I'd be able to follow future knot instructions better. Otherwise, it looks clean and well done.

    Hall effect sensor

I was getting excited about possibly using these in a motorcycle gas tank as replacements for worn out resistance wire and wiper designs. However, tank bags secured with very strong magnets are popular on motorcycles with steel tanks. I'm thinking the strength of those magnets would case interference. Thoughts?
