  • With This Mailbox You Will Never Miss Your Post Again

To the person stating that regulations are so stringent in the USA - I don't know where you live, but where I live I've seen all kinds of things used as mailboxes. One house has a car transmission on a pole, my husband built us box of 3/4" thick steel on a post, as well as other various creative designs. Yes, a letter box would be inadequate as we get small packages and all sizes of letters, but this is probably possible if it can be built on a much larger scale as long as the letter carrier has easy access (no codes), is the correct height, and the ever popular 'rural flag' attached. I think this could be done....unfortunately where we live the snow plows regularly obliterate anything out there so it could get quite expensive replacing the electronics weekly LOL.
