I just made these - used bacon grease for the butter. I also used 1/4 cup milk and just about more than 1 additional Tbsp. I found these to be very thin (like European pancakes) but super tender and delicious. They browned easier when I didn't grease my skillet but I found the batter a bit runny while flipping them over. Not enough to deter me from making these again - great recipe, thanks for sharing!
