How to comb your hair like a real man...
Hello Crash2108,Thank you for this great article.I've followed your instructions with a noisy mouse and the result is excellent.A question with your permission:The Logitech K120 mouse does not support horizontal scrolling. Tilting the wheel is middle-click.The problem is I can only tilt it to the left. Is it possible to make it "tiltble" to the right?I'd appreciate your help.Best regards.
Not even sure why Dell felt the need to make their mouse so noisy, but thanks to you, now mine is quiet as a . . . mouse.
Thank You! This just made my normal old mouse a high-speed new mouse
How To Make A Mousewheel Scroll Smoothly
Thank you for the great article.I just removed the spring accidentally when I was cleaning up a logitech M100r. So I searched about it and am leaded here. Good to know it's a proper mod.
Thank you so much for this. Just replaced a Dell mouse due to its noisy scroll wheel - could have saved some money if I had discovered this instructable sooner!
Thanks - this works great! Just a note on finding the case screws on a Dell mouse - they may be hidden under the bottom pad (the crescent-shaped sticker). This should restick after you have followed the instructions.
yay thank you!
Soooooo. Happy!!! Took mouse apart to clean it, as it was double clicking by itself all the time. The springs came out before I could see how they went back in. The photos were all I needed.
I need to remove the springs from two co-workers' mouses as they scroll in unison and it drives me crazy. Our Lenovo mouse doesn't appear to have a screw on the bottom.
