The reason you don't feel the discharge is because the current generated in the plasma ball is very high frequency AC and this is subject to the Skin Effect. AC tends to travel on the outside of conductors. That is one reason why stranded wire is prefered for AC. It has more surface area than solid wire. See this link for more info.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skin_effect

Hello, me againI can confirm that the links do work when i open my gmail in a browser, but not when i view the same email (gmail-account) in Outlook. HOWEVER in the newsletter from last sunday (Raspberry pi 2 Retro...). all the links worked again (yes, in Outlook), but in the one that came yesterday (High-Effinciency Dimmable...) it was back to not working....I mean... just how...? - janern
Yeah... The high efficiency dimmable thing... That's my Instructable! Here's the link if you need it:http://www.instructables.com/id/Make-Your-Own-Dimm... - yonatan24
Jumping into this one. I have the same problem, and for me as well it suddenly started from one newsletter to the next. To make matters worse for me, my outlook tells me "application not found" when i try to "view in web browser". That is of course some other issue with my computer.
omg, annoying, I'm looking at one right now, and just want to click on so many things! :-p
same here, really annoying too as the editors picks are worth the clicks normally, please fix it
The problem is also still happening for me, but I've been working around it by clicking the "view in browser" link at the top of the emails in Outlook. The links work fine in my browser (Chrome).
I can see the link address in the Featured item, but not the Editors picks below in the last several e-mails. If I go back to Feb 2nd or so, everything work like it is susposed to. You have not included link information on any of the editors choice since early February... please correct....
Yup, doesn't work for me either in Explorer or Chrome. What's the point of the newsletter if I can't read the Editor's Picks?
I am also having the same problem. The featured link image works, but all the other images links do not work. Also using Outlook. I believe this may be an Outlook issue, but searches for it on the web have not uncovered anything. Perhaps there was a new Windows Update that disabled this, but I cannot find it.
