AC and DC circuit for LED's are completely different so it is not possible to mix the two types of current.

I have come across many people who think that LED's ONLY WORK ON DC.
I don't know from where they got this WRONG conception that LED's do not work on AC.
I have been using my "LED CHANDELIER" for the last one year on AC and not one LED has burnt off.

I wonder why people load their Instructables with so many unwanted pictures and essays that it becomes confusing for the readers to follow what they actually want to say. Sometimes too many Pictures with little subject matter is also of no use. The best way is to explain the job done, is by a Photo, in short and to the point. Also some times in an electronic (Tech) Instructable people forget give a neat Circuit Diagram which explains much better than words.
That can be very true, but sometimes it can be hard. My very first Instructable is not very clear and I must clean it up sometime...
