Wow awesome work! I give you credit, that probably took a while to build.
You could use this as a parachute! Also congrats on winning the grand prize!
Design. Test. Print. Build. An Aerodynamic RC Plane (Tutorial)
Thanks for reading! Heres what I used for electronicsMotor - Emaxx GT2215/09Propeller - 10x4.5ESC - BL Heli 30 amp ESCBattery- 3s (11.1v) Lipo 2650Mah - Im considering getting a smaller battery to save on weight for better performance, maybe around a 2200Mah
Yes it did! The Center of gravity is now close to perfect! However, the drone is kind of heavy so it takes a lot to get it up in the air. I plan to do some weight reduction, like getting a smaller battery, and maybe adding a little more wing area. I have the new video in progress, but Ive been busy lately so it will still be a few weeks before its uploaded.
Thanks, I appreciate it. I can't say I haven't thought about it, but foam is much stronger, lighter and easier to build with. It can also take minor crashes pretty well. Not a bad idea though
Ive heard about this. I haven't registered yet, but for 5 bucks your'e probably better safe than sorry
lol. Well to me building the plane just as fun as flying it, so I look at a crash as an opportunity to improve the design and rebuild it into a better version.
