How to Bring a 1970s AM/FM Flip Clock Back to Life
Antique Clock Upgrade
I like it! You could really play up the crinkles in the foil for a creepy cracked effect by rubbing a layer of darker paint on.
Antique Mantel Clock Resto-Mod
Vintage MPC Scout Trooper Model - Mod

Yes I can...I did the reset and it seems to be working fine. Thanks.
I hope it worked (did you get this?). - Kiteman
I have a problem with publishing a forum topic, so I emailed service about that several days ago:"We have been performing updates that could have caused this delay. However, looking at your settings it looks like you should be all set." ElmarM, you can see your notifications (for now) here, in "discussions": http://www.instructables.com/you - Yonatan24
I can't publish a forum topic (I have problems with publishing), so I emailed service about that a couple days ago:"We have been performing updates that could have caused this delay. However, looking at your settings it looks like you should be all set."I just check to see if I have new ones here, under discussions: http://www.instructables.com/you - Yonatan24
I have changed my settings, saved then changed it back. Hoping that did the trick....thanks much.
In the tradition of Microsoft, have you tried changing the settings to something else, saving them, then changing back and saving again?
sorry for not getting back....I have not been getting notifications that I had comments. Have you had your fixed?
I'm so sorry for not getting back with you. I have not been getting messages from Instructables about any new messages from folks and it looks like I have a few out there (will have to report it as a bug). I believe it is a Lloyds lj61G-118B. My apologies again for not getting back.
I'm so sorry for not getting back to you as soon as you made your comment. The instructables notifications don't seem to be working....will send a ticket for that. To answer your question. After you set your alarm time, select "auto" and select "on" for the radio.

What is the model number on that clock, if you don't mind my asking? Thanks to nostalgia, I've been looking all over the internet for that particular model.I remember seeing a clock very similar to yours at my late grandfather's house when I was helping set up an estate sale ten years ago. When I look back nowadays, I really wish I'd have held onto the clock, and I hate myself for not keeping it, but oh well.

When I look back nowadays, I really wish I'd have held onto the clock, and I hate myself for not keeping it, but I did recently find a Copal MG-111 flip-clock electrical timer that eased ten years worth of painful regret. The timer works quite well, too.

Sorry for your loss. I hope you find the perfect container for Dillon. Our four legged buddies are so much better then the mass produced products out there because our friends are so unique. I still miss my girl...thanks for your comment.
Thank you and I am sorry for your loss too. I am sure that Mary and Roxy will continue to live in our hearts with warmest memories for years to come. Thanks again.
I have one of these models, as well. I probably got mine back around 1990. I assembled mine but never fully painted it or detailed it. I put mine back in the box, after the stand broke, many years ago. I have no idea if it is an MPC brand and I'm not eager to get it out of storage to determine that, right now. Being younger then, I didn't know how to build a model properly and I would not have noticed all those inaccuracies. I am curious, however. I'll probably look for it one day soon and see how it compares.
