I don't have any knowledge about this that is true. I have skipped meals before and of course you'll lose weight. That's all short term though. When your body goes into starvation mode it'll drop your metabolism low so that you conserve better. So I guess if you stick to this it would work,but with the low metabolism, if you slip up or get off this diet you'll end up packing the pounds rather quickly. Again, just my opinion! Educate me
I would not encourage this type of dieting! Your body starts to "hold" on to fat so it can make it through the next fasting. Your metabolism slows so you will not burn through the limited nutrients as quickly making it that much harder on yourself. Yes anything can work if you try hard enough but I would NEVER suggest this to anyone, eating less doesn't mean you'll burn more. If you want to burn more that's what exercise is for. just my opinion
