I like the LED vintage bulb, old fashioned yellow hue. I'll try to make a pair using only car parts, FI rails for the arm, etc.
Another thought.... use a pull chain covered in black Plasti Dip to simulte an oil drip. Or an 710 cap on a rotary switch.
Add a couple of glass marbles to keep the scale from building up. There's a stainless steel "pad" that's supposed to attract the hard minerals, haven't tried it.
Add a handle and some friction to magnets. Wrap them in duct tape, leave a pull tab at one end. Trim with scissors.
