I have an ANET A8 and it makes a great paperweight. Can't figure out why it freezes up mid print and the head keeps leaking even after tightening it up. Any suggestions or are you planning to do a real DIY upgrade for the ANET A 8. There are thousands of us that would like to have it reach its full potential. Personally, I'd just like it to work. Just a suggestion.

Why didn't you buy the capacitors instead of making them? Just saying it would have made this a bit easier. And what size would you use to make the Tesla if you did use store bought capacitors. Thanks

Plywood with copper U or H channel framework pre attached to the wall prior to installing the backsplash. Better than construction glue.

    Exactly - auto spell sucks

Sorry but that's incorrect. In this instance, the coins are not being multilated and that is what the law you are quoting is directed at.. Imagine all the casinos that would be shut down because of their displays.

Now that IS a relevant topic that requires further discussion. An unlevel floor will puddle and not cover properly. The floor has to be leveled prior to doing this project. Look up How to float a floor on YouTube. There are several self-leveling materials that a person can use to level a floor. It's not difficult but it can be a lot of work. Hope this helps. The leveling applies to every tabletop or bar top surface too.

It is usually made from softwoods such as Douglas Fir or Pine. A structural exterior (water resistant) adhesive is used to adhere the veneer layers together. The higher grade panels are sanded on both sides and are sometimes referred to as Sanded Plywood or Sanded Panels. When referring to thickness, exterior grade plywood is nominally smaller than the referred to dimension e.g.: ¼ inch panels are actually 7/32” or ¾” panels are actually 23/32” etc. See our list of available sizes below. It's light weight and cheap to install. Or, they can use fiber-board siding. Heavier but very durable.I want to make sure you know I really like what you have done here. This is really cool. I only make suggestions to help other builders have a better experience with their project. No NEGATIVE criticism. FYI, I'm going to build one of these myself. Thanks for the great work and ideas. Well thought out.

Not all plywood. Exterior grade is but if it isn't made that way, the glue will break down with moisture over time.

    Powerful burning Laser

    Thank you.

You seem like you know what you're talking about so make an Instructable that does that. I'm sure if this laser doesn't cut me at the supermarket, then there's not much of a danger here, right? If the laser is cutting, then it's also cauterizing the wound immediately. Good prep and should be alright. Normal dressing afterwards would be about the same as getting a tattoo.

    Powerful burning Laser

Think you could create a ible for a laser to remove tattoos? If this will focus enough to etch leather, that it's just enough to remove tattoos in the epidermis. They charge a fortune ($1,000.00 a sq inch) for tattoo removal. This could help a lot of people land their great job. Narrow minded image conscious employers won't hire people with tattoos in the corporate sector. I know, I've been held back most of my life. I have an MS in CJ and tats held me back.

So what about a laser that can be used to remove tattoos? Blue laser from a BluRay would be too much but this might work if used properly. As an 18 yo, I got several tattoos, Now that I'm 56, I have a couple that I want to remove. Light burning is what they use in a Dr. office and if this will barely etch leather, that means it would work for tattoos. Anyone want to create something like that?

    Tips on Cutting PVC Pipe

    This is a dead link.

I've had to cut pipe out in the field a ways from the truck. A half hour walk because my cutters fell out of my bag. I used a piece of stranded string to cut the pipe. It actually cuts fast. The string I used was left over from the guys setting forms. As I was in a trench covered in mud, hiking back really wasn't an option. The string made a smooth and perfect cut I tied the ends around two smaller PVC pieces to give me a handle (scrap pipe) and then see-sawed the string until it cut through. Just in case anyone needs an emergency cutter. Here's a good YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLvnWJxogZU
