Carbon tape heated steering wheel
Depending on the boot/shoes, one should think twice about using heat to dry them. For running shoes: The high heat can damage the glue which holds the shoes together. The heat can also weaken the upper and cause it to crack. Ddon’t stick a hair dryer into your shoes for an extended time. You can use a hair dryer for a minute or two for quick drying, but too much heat is damaging to the shoes—and will ruin the dryer. Also, do not store them in a hot car, dryer or in the sun. It's best to take out the insole of the shoe and stuff it tightly with balled up newspaper all the way past the cuff. Rotate out the wet paper with more dry paper until the shoes are dry. The paper absorbs the moisture while maintaining the integrity of the shoe materials.
