Here in Scotland we call it porridge. It's staple breakfast in the prisons, kitchens for the homeless and basically peasant food. We make it with water and plenty of salt.Some older, more traditional folks will only eat it while standing up, and always refer to porridge as "them".I like it salty, but with a good sprinkling of brown sugar and a big blob of Cornish clotted cream. YUMMY!!!
