    Yeah, this was only to get the Wifi module to actually turn on in the first place. Once it was working, I switched followed ruthsarian's instructions to fix the bad password error. Switching the wifi driver like he said worked fine for me, but you could also try installing network-manager like he did to fix it permanently. Have a look through some of his posts, they're extremely helpful!

    Same here. I haven't had any luck yet either. It may or may not be related, but when I go to the wifi settings in RetroPie, this message flashes onscreen briefly, before the GUI comes up:using old config directory. Please migrate your files to "home/pi/.config/emulationstation" and delete the ".emulationstation" folder
