A trick for removing most labels is to use a hair dryer to heat the label (and the glue). Most labels will peel right off cleanly. Learned this trick as a reseller where I need to "de-label" lots of products quickly. Believe it or not, you can actually sell the de-labeled and cleaned bottles in bulk lots on eBay or Etsy for crafting projects.
