    No More Roaches

Im in the process of doing this and I need some info and advice....So earlier this month my boyfriend and I moved into a duplex we are renting. I have some traumatic past childhood experiences with a terrible infestation so, though I am terrified of all bugs, roaches are top on my list. The couple we are renting from had told me they get monthly pest control and I should have no problem. Within a little over a week, I saw in total 5 alive and saw they were german roaches and I know those are the worst. So obviously this place has a problem. Right away I came across this instructable and decided I had to do it. So last week I started. I am in between jobs and free all day but, my boyfriend works until 5, and I cannot even go close to any little possible roach nook without having a pani...

I am in between jobs and free all day but, my boyfriend works until 5, and I cannot even go close to any little possible roach nook without having a panic attack plus this place is a very big ( 2 story with 2 bedrooms and a basement)... So its become a very slow going project.Last week we put some bait behind drawers in kitchen, under kitchen sink, and on door frames as well as foamed up under the sink. After that it seemed like we already began to solve our problem.... Until yesterday. We have not finished the whole place yet and since we still havent fully unpacked and it is difficult to get around any rooms deemed as our "box" rooms.... Its gonna take a while. So I have two main questions to ask. One, if the process takes a long time, will it still work? Like if we finish the kitchen, but there are still plenty of entryways open elsewhere, is it pretty much not gonna help? Also if we finish the whole place, how many, if any, roaches would be okay to see without jumping to it not working, and for how long? Should i expect almost a small increase in sightings right after before they all die or should I see none? Any advice and tips would be great! I have 2 cats so any tips or other tricks need to be pet friendly :)
