    3D Printed Bionic Hand Skeleton

Idea: recall player pianos?Someone could add a means of programming hand movements using small motors so the hand would do gestures to music or voice commands and teaching sign language was my original thought... :)I clicked the vote button...

  • FAIL Making a Canoe with Fire

The natives used propane blow torches since the coals were difficult to handle with bare hands.

How I ended up mopping the ceiling...

Brought back a slightly related memory. There is 6 years between my brother's birthday and mine. Not a good thing for the younger brother.I discovered a warm bottle of coke and shook it like mad. Then told my brother to open it and fix us an iced soda.

  • Charcoal Powered Generator - Gasifier

Interesting but impractical on a global or even state wide scale. Charcoal comes from burning trees. Go to Haiti and see how the poor natives cut down all the trees to cook. Or Oklahoma City where the ancestors cut down all the trees... etc.

    Bleeding Puppy Cake Fail

Ask me about the room full of women with masters and doctorates who when the cat entered carrying a mouse in its mouth and dropped it on the floor and all of the women jumped on chairs and couches and began screaming... One almost fainted when the cat taking the signal grabbed the mouse by the skull and bit into it with a crunch and then swallowed the mouse. One woman fainted.

Question: where the kids all girl?. By that age little boys are setting cats on fire and swinging them by their tales and letting go to see how high they'll fly and if they land on their feet.

How to build a SOLAR BOTTLE BULB

Amazing idea. Free. Unlinke the Crowdfunding ideas which seek a millions to fund the development of a product the poor cannot afford. This won't work under many non-solar conditions but when it does work it must be a miracle for these folks. Now if the liquid could be made to store the light similar to fireflies and fish...Have you tried using longer tubes, for instance an eight foot tall pipe in the corner of a room? Or a long clear plastic pipe and maybe diffuse its surface? Plastic fiber tubes are used to transfer light from one end to the other.

  • Amazing Fire Domino - 3000 Matches Chain Reaction!!!!!!

Ah, fire. So mesmerizing.Brought to mind what I did and probably many others in my youth. Take the tin foil from a pack of cigarettes or other source. Wrap it around the match and leave an exhaust tube at the end. Now light the match. ROCKET POWER>>>I wonder what would happen if you did the same with this idea. Solid booster rocket. Maybe achieve orbit rather than a few feet. Or maybe out it inside a long tube with the match heads at the bottom and then light them through a small hole at the bottom of the tube. Like you can see in movies of ancient cannons in the warships. Put a chicken inside and video launching the chicken. Or a pumpkin like the shows where they Chunk the Pumpkin.OK, its early AM and I am energetic and wired on coffee...

    Make a Colorful Smart Router

I like the finished look of your project and am always envious of the Instructables community and their skills. In 1972 I made a couch out of 2x4s using just a saw and drill in an empty room. No table saw. No nothing. It looked like it but the bench thing worked for a while...Acknowledging this is a 'fun' project and that i have embarked on many myself, there may be many here that are unaware of Ethernet and hubs. 20 years ago I set up local Ethernet networks that someone 50 feet outside the building could not get into nor anyone on the otherside of the planet using the Internet. The convenience of the smart phone and tablet sacrifice security using WiFi and Cellular even if you have your own private server as one former Secretary of State did. She just didn't realize that email goes out...

She just didn't realize that email goes out in unencrypted text. You can secure your fixed desktops and servers using Ethernet and cheap hubs and get safer and faster networking. And if you use a Hub, as of 10+ years ago, each channel runs at full speed rather than dividing up the bandwidth.I think Apple's latest WiFi routers as well as other companies broadcast on something like a fixed focus narrow beam rather than in a spherical pattern. This provides a bit more security. One cool thing would be if someone could create an encryption system where each device would send a key with its request and the other would use the key to encrypt the message. Thus the key would be a random key and only good for that message and reply.

    iPhone 6 battery replacement

Don't forget to backup the iPhone before removing the battery. Also if you have an issue with battery life on a new Apple product, contact Apple Care to see if there is a known problem with the battery and Apple might replace it for free. Also cellular connections if constantly on will drain a battery faster than if it is turned off. Apple also does a lot of dialing home and auto updates so you can save battery life by turning off some of these options. GPS, mapping, email, keyboards, auto backup...

    Remove Branding From Your Car

Leer is what a man does at a woman before she sla;ps his face, at least in the movies; of course its dark in the movies so I am just guessing.Apple used to number its operating system versions but now it names them after animals and other things. It seems that many Apple owners aren't good at math.

  • 5 Ways to Start a Fire, Using Water

The various elements and compounds that burst into fire when mixed with water are extremely dangerous and should be handled with care. A small quantity might start a cooking fire but a larger quantity might be explosive.I did enjoy the examples of how to use water to start a fire...

The example of using the picture frame is excellent. There are many videos on YouTube showing how to get the fresnel lens from old TVs but this example is quicker and cheaper.Have you tried using a glass bowl filled with water?

    How to Distill Water

Seldom is your stomach empty. If you eat well the water will be mixing with all of the good stuff in your stomach. No one is going to only ingest distilled water and no other foods, etc. 24/7 for months on end.I do however prefer my lead, chlorine, radioactive particles, sludge and other junk in the water pipes to distilled water. Much tastier. The city warns it is going to flush the pipes and you should see the junk that comes out and how long you have to run the water to clean it out of the pipes.
