Great idea but a basement can hold hundreds of gallons of water in walls and slab alone. You would need quite a few Peltier coolers and even though there are cheep ones online, the good ones are expensive.
Yeah, thanks for emasculate us "manly men" even more, haha. I wish I could build a stonewall as strong or as beautiful. Outstanding work.
That's very similar to what I do; I cut off the "top and bottom" just where the the stem meets the flesh. This way the core comes out very easily and with a lengthwise cut, everything left is flat.
That's GREAT info! I've un-seized a stuck piston with AFT, but never thought of mixing in acetone. Thanks!
Awesome article, thanks!
Read "mechanical engineer", but then again, reading, apparently, is optional in engineering.
Very interesting, do you know the name of the supplements? I'ld like to try them. Thanks
I'm thinking a double boiler would not get warm enough to melt sugar (212F vs 370F)? And I don't think there is a significant enough difference between heavy and whipping cream to really change the result.I've used recipes where all the ingredients are mixed together in a pot and brought to rolling boil, after 10-15 min you can drop a little of the boiling caramel in a glass of water and ice. When the sample doesn't dissolve, it is done.
Sure, one stick of butter is 113g (4 Oz). Cut off one tenth (1/10) and you'll end up with almost exactly 100 grams of butter. Also, there's 24 teaspoons in a stick; remove 2.5 notches (tsp).
You make an important point! Depending on the thickness, it would take a long time and require a lot of vinegar I'm guessing. You can get muriatic acid at most hardware stores.
Interesting idea; how's titanium to work with? Will it ruin my nonabrasive cutting tools, what about different Ti. grades? Maybe Flat Eric should do his own intructable!
Constructive criticism is great, but You are doing just fine. This site is about communicating, not writing an English essay. Keep up the good work.
Funny story; I had three juggling balls with some sort of seeds in them on a trip to the Whitsunday island on the great barrier reef. In the middle of the night I was awaken by the sound of something eating the seeds, that had been stored in a backpack inside a tent. This animal had gone thru five layers of fabric to get to his little snack.
