We kept a compost bin in our garden. Among the stuff we put in were teabags. We assumed all would break down.Periodically we spread it onto our flower beds.One day we found a daffodil wearing a flat hat.It had come up under a teabag - the bag part not having broken down.
We must have been horrible kids in the 50s.Probably because so many of us were brought up by our Grans due to the war.My wife told me that one. she probably got it from her Gran.
