Just wanted to add these pictures somewhere public to remember them. This is Strike, a bolt action pistol. I built it to replace single shot pistols in range, while still competing with the rate of fire of simple pin pistols. Did I succeed? No not really, at least on that rate of fire part. I nailed range of 40-50 ft. A little more work and this could be a great gun. This was going to be part of the pistol collab back in April, but it fell apart.

Hey I was just wondering if you had any suggestions for what I should build next. I'm working on an RPG right now, but I have no idea what to do after that

For all you people who stalk my orangeboard (which is just fine, this is where I communicate my new projects) I have a new shell ejecting assault rifle coming out soon named Blunt, keep an eye out for a preview this week!

The JonnyBGood way, I guess? Cause it's almost a month now... LOL.

Yeah my weeks last a lot longer than others... lol. :/

No, really in all seriousness I got a second job now. I work as a teacher's assistant (TA) for a mechanical engineering professor at my college. I do grading, tutoring, and my favorite part, building things! So now I work at school and a dollar store, while still balancing homework (for now).

I will see if I can get those pictures up today since I have some time but I'm still me, so you know, it may take a while.

Congrats on getting a new job! =D

Take you time (not like a week, but a day or two should do it.) I would also like a favour. Could you post some gun like Zip3 or this new one before the 27th? I have holidays for about 10 days, so I'm kinda free and want to build a new gun.

LOL, I guess I never looked at it that way, but in that case, I stalk lots of people's OBs.

Here are the newest views of my R5... They don't have the pin-guide in them, to early for that.

Nice! I haven't done anything to mine in a while.... just not had time.... starting a second job this week but I'll still be able to do some knex stuff on the weekends. I've been kind of scraping for some inspiration on my own gun.... I know had ideas for a Xm-29 but that was kind of concept Idea. I just want to build something that works...

hate these long brain storming times. Once I get going I'll build about 3 to 4 guns. I just need that starting point.

Hey man,

Yeah, I haven't done much to mine lately either. I have worked every day for the last week, so I haven't had much time. The pin guide is working great. Now I just need to add a good looking optic and I'm gonna call it quits. Hows yours coming along? Ready to finish up?

Umm yeah about that... I finally had a great idea come along and it quickly became quite big and well.... hungry. It ate my R5 and grew another foot in length. I'm sorry man ideas hit me very spontaneously and this one stuck really well. You can post your version, and I hope your not offended that I ducked out toward the end.

Its all good bro, the project wasn't working how we wanted it to was it? LOL, its all good man. Cheers! BTW, could I get any pictures of that new prototype on my OB?

I will get you a couple of Project Blunt prototype 3 pictures as soon as I can take them. If you don't mind helping I'll also take a picture of the crucial components and hopefully if you have time you can help me make this look decent. (as a warning the current gun may burn your eyes, it looks a bit too unique)

I've recently had a great (and complex) idea of making a Competitor V's replacement concept using the shell concept.... and a bullpup design, with an internal hammer that works of a top mounted slide. The only problem will be trigger placement, so I may opt out of bullpup, but we'll see what I come up with when I get some time this weekend.

And if it makes it sound any better, I have created a concept that increases the efficiency of the simple pin gun via shells. I still have to run some numbers but I'm predicting (without measurements) shells are increasing range by 5 to 10 feet.
