Hey guys!
I'm back with new plans. So here's what's up: expect a bullpup gun, simple pin design; and a bullpup gun concept, slingshot with a removable magazine.
I've been a bit busy lately mainly due to a new hobby which I need to balance time bet we knex and it.
Anyway that's what I got going on. Stay awesome as always!

Wow! I went on a nostalgia spree and checked out KillerK's youtube videos, surprised to see some recent ones. I just have to say I'm really impressed with the Zip3, makes me think about bringing back my K'nexer ways.

Seeing as you joined the site a good two years after I was last really active, I thought I'd share the only thing I ever made that I'm actually a fan of years later.

Single-shot rifles may be a thing of the past, but with enough barrel extensions etc I made a version similar to this

but with a longer barrel/track and use dart ammo in it. Pretty accurate.

Not trying to advertise just thought I'd say hi and that I'm really happy K'nex guns are still a big thing!

Well no offence but, I didn't even know you were one of the original k'nex gun builders, but awesome. Glad you like my work though!

I've slowed down a bit, mainly due too brainstorming and another hobby. Again though, glad you like my work, and I hope too see some new stuff from you sometime!

I was known more for commenting etc than posting ibles, and I certainly wasn't a top-tier builder or anything. But it was pretty cool when over half the top commented upon instructables were K'nex guns.

Things just sorta fell apart when KI was created since half the people moved there, then that site shut down and it all sorta just ended. But I've seen more and more on in the last year which is great!

Yeah I wasn't a part of that KI movement, heck I built with knex for 10 years before I thought of trying to make a gun. So this site is responsible for me doing this awesome hobby, and I don't regret that at all.

Glad to see you bro! How's that Mech Engineer lyfe treating you so far?

Pretty well! I'm working a second job as a teachers assistant at my college, and I'm doing a lot of grading and tutoring. So doing a lot of work and school mainly. I got a new hobby as well so I'm trying to balance the two, we'll see how that goes. How about you?

Ah, the TA life eh? Is the hobby LARPing with the umbrella we made? Lol.

As for me, it's school, Nerfing, and Animal Activism (don't judge me).

Hey, who am I too judge? I'm an adult who still plays with toys as a hobby. Nothing wrong with that.

Lol I was referring to the activism. :P

Well, I'm back! Unfortunately right in time for school to start this Monday, however it's time for me to get back into my knex projects which are very similar. I will be building variants to Zip3: Variant A; a better packaged and better performing Zip3, ( I've already started this one) Variant B; a bullpup Zip3. What not to like?, Variant C a highly compact alteration of Zip3. The only version I have not started working on yet.
So yeah.... I'm stuck on how much I like Zip3, but hey, my goal is that I will have a war worthy pump-action rifle after this so stay tuned!

Also I may break up my posts with some Destiny guns, so look out for those.

I can't wait for a Zip C!

Make a Variant D: with a turret!

My Zip3 setup is designed more with magazines in mind. Also for pump-action guns, it's always important to keep the pump rods as close to the ramrod as possible. Throwing that turret into the middle of the gun means the pump rods need to go over or underneath it which always screws me up.... I will try something like that sometime though, just not yet. =P Even I haven't master the art of knex guns.

Finished with Zip3 a few hours back, and I'm lovin' it! Post some pics and all my views on the ible tomorrow... =D
