Great build. It wasn't until I made it to the comments that I realized why you made the mounting locations on the lid instead of the toolbox body. These are for removing easily, and not so much for permanently fixed saddlebags.

whosdadog,Thank you for your comment. I absolutely agree; however, I'm limited by the size hole I'm able to make in these walls as well as the location for these crates. I personally found that these screws were adequate for the weight it will be holding but I would encourage others to adjust their preferences accordingly if they plan on carrying heavier items. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with everyone.

I would be careful about which type of wall anchor you are using. Those super short screws going into just drywall can only hold a few pounds, especially when the entire weight of the crate is trying to pull the screws out of the wall (not down). You need either molly screws that expand in the drywall and usually support 25lbs, or longer screws that go into studs behind the wall where weight limits aren't a concern. - whosdadog
