I all can say is, wow, props. You've got some mad skills. The video is extremely well produced and educational. I wish there was more on the wiring portion but it is still incredible. The build is very professional and the outcome is dazzling. Well done.
Hi Constantine, Great, simple instructable for easy wireless power demonstration. Just one suggestion: the base lead of the transistor is getting hot because there is no load to influence current. This will degrade the transistor over time. I suggest adding a simple load (~1 k ohm resistor should be fine) between the base lead and the coil wire, which should help.

This is awesome. Well done! I am in the process of designing a stand-up cabinet to put in the basement bar, and was looking for guidance. Your instructable is as brilliant as it is detailed. I never considered the art on the cabinet as I had planned to paint it but seeing the effect on yours is gorgeous and I've converted. I plan on adding 6 buttons (3 top, 3 bottom) and 2 joysticks (standard side by side arcade configuration) to be able to emulate most games. I didn't think the Pi could handle emulation at speed for many games, but I'll go experiment with it now seeing how you've had success with it. Thanks for this guide.
