Thank you for your instructable. It makes sense. I started putting on more pounds after I had an accident that damaged my left knee. I couldn't walk much so I wasn't exercising but I was still eating the same amount. I did the Adkins diet once and lost about 7 pounds in about 10 days. I got the little strips that test for ketones in your pee, that shows you are burning fat. It was hard to stay on. I can do this fasting routine. I have fasted for 3 days only drinking water or sometimes tea and coffee for spiritual insight. I am going to do this. I ordered The Makers Diet Meals by Jordan Rubin that I think will help with better meal planning.
