Hi! I just found your Instructable about fireflies. I'd like to build a unit like this but unfortunately my skills are not up to the programming part. Would it be possible to get a programmed chip? I'm a retired EE who got into sales after only two years in the lab at Univac. That was in 1968! Your Instructable is one of the best I've ever seen. I hope to see more of your work. Thanks in advance, Eccentrictinker

Really great instructable but I too have noooo idea about programming if there is anything you could do for a instruction on programming or any reference you would suggest?

I would like to second ET's request! Fantastic project, excellecntly demonstrated... I just have no idea on the programming side of things. Is there a port or breadboard/computer interface? How does that file you offered get out of my hard drive and into the chip? Can't wait to see your next one! Thanks for any help you can give - Rainger

The firefly project looks like a great project for those of us that do not get to enjoy these in nature. I'm currently attempting to order all the parts from Digikey. For the resistors, they have have many subtle differences with the specs. Does anyone have more details specs or actual Digikey numbers for the ones used in this project? Thank you for all of your help. Thanks Dave

I've seen that bug a number of times. Right now, we're in the midst of a database schema re-architecture and are paying special attention to that section of the code. Once we're done, it should be fixed. Maybe by the end of the month? Sorry for any frustration.
