nothing really, its just that july 4th and nov 5th are both fairly important dates, our birthdays and both on those days and we are both inteested in pyrotechnics and it is custom to set fireworks off on that date. kinda weird that. i didnt mean anything in particular about what happened :P

yes we do, but I'm not particularly religious, i just like buying stuff :P ive bought myself a Acer Aspire One for christmas. Theres only one main annoying thing about liking things that go boom in britain, theres pretty strict laws about it, last year i made a small explosive charge that blew up a wheelie bin, i got a fine of £200 and charged for disturbing the peace! i mean come on...it wasnt even that destructuve either..lol

well your allowed airguns and slingshots but not over a certain power i think, ive got a cobra slingshot and it can fire well over 200m, but its mostly explosives they worry about, especially since the terrosist attacks on glasgow and london, but as long as the local police realise your not a terrorist they dont bug you as much about it. and whats quite funny is, since ive lived here the neibhours on both sides of me have moved because of my fantastic hobby :P i think the first couple left when one of my fireworks went in their garden and scorched their grass..was incrediby funny, he was shouting at me and my friends and i were laughing our heads off. i like that umbrella idea though...wouldnt be too hard either, i think :P

yes you do, but I don't have any airguns anyway. i used to have airsoft, but without a permit you could only use it on your own land (not very much in my case) or on an airsoft shooting range kinda thing, and the closest one to me was too far to go regularly so i sold it. if you did have a permit you were allowed to carry it around for some reason...kinda stupid, but i suppose its so you could take it round to a friends house or something. I'm thinking of getting airsoft and airgun permits but that incident with the wheelie bin last year might make them think twice :P

nah, i can't get anymore.... now i have to make them all, lol they'll be better than anything you can buy though... i could easily make one that shoots 100 rounds a second, at 400 fps, but i just haven't had the time.... and then i'm making coil guns, which shoot steel rods at 300 fps...

pretty stable, and carry a lot of momentum... later, i'll make one that shoots 1000fps, with a 1/4 inch steel rod... as powerful as a real gun...

i didn't get that bowie knife i wanted, and no snow in houston, but hey, i'll take whatever i get, lol.
and i made this /?ALLSTEPS USB batman spotlight thingy for my sister, 'cept mine was out of acrylic sheet for the lense, pvc pipe for the frame, and i made the usb light myself, and matt black spray paint over that.
she likes it, and so do i, pics soon....

i wouldn't bother with an itouch if i were you, they look all nice and flash to stary with but the screen gets all mucked up and the touch screen just gets plain annoying. and investing wouldn't be a good option considering theres a recession around the corner... :P id stick with the paintball gun ;)
