POV Globe 24bit True Color and Simple HW

ok i got it, i found the right datasheet to program it (the one on hobbyking is wrong) after setting all options to default it works now ;) i will try to upload the datasheet to hobbyking

hello,i cant get the ESC and my motor to run. i use the ESC linked above and this motor 2800KV:https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Racerstar-2845-Mot...i tried to use different arduino sketches (and also your) and a servo tester. do i need to programm it (ESC)? i never used an ESC ...with the servo tester when i switch "trottle" to full i can get to programming mode but the tones do not match the one from the pdf. i always hear like C in 6 different variations and than it repeats.

    Infinity Mirror Clock

hi, i just wanted to share a bit of my problems and solutions with the programming code.when using fastLED version 3 you need to change BLEND to LINEARBLEND (it was discribed here also)than i got a problem with the IR sensor. when starting the clock up it always showed a distance value of over 3000 and the sonsor did not work. i always needed to send "STAT" and after that it showed a value of like 6 and the sonsor worked.the solution was pretty simple, i just needed to set the variables to 0 which were only initialized:int ambientIR = 0; int obstacleIR = 0; int distance = 0; i also changed the part for the IR sensor:int IRvalue = readIR(10); if(IRvalue > 50){ // Switch off LEDs if someone is near the mirror - so that it can be used as a mirror. Switch off LEDs be...

Switch off LEDs between 12:00 and 6:00 to save energy and cool down the LEDs and power supplies sensor = 1; all_off(); do { // statement block if(readIR(10) > 50){ FastLED.delay(300); } else{ sensor = 0; } } while (sensor == 1); //FastLED.delay(300); //FastLED.show(); // ledState = 1; } else { fill_solid(leds, NUM_LEDS, bg); }now it stays off as long as i m near the sonsor. the sensor variable is decleared in the top of the code int sensor = 0;----another problem was the touch sensor which wasnt set. it worked after adding some code but it wasnt working like an on/off switch. sure you can set it to switch between effects etc but i just used it as on/off for the moment, and i just wanted to show here my solution, since it always "double clicked" even when i physically teched it fast. its probably not the best solution but it works without a problem now.you just need to insert it after the sCmd.readSerial(); comand:if (digitalRead(SWITCHPIN) == LOW){ if(touchSensor == 1) { touchSensor = 0; } all_off(); do { FastLED.delay(300); if(touch == 1) { if(digitalRead(SWITCHPIN) == LOW) { do { if(digitalRead(SWITCHPIN) == HIGH) { touchSensor = 1; } }while (touchSensor == 0); } } if(digitalRead(SWITCHPIN) == HIGH) { touch = 1; } else{} } while (touchSensor == 0); touch = 0; } else{ } in the top code those variables are defined:int touchSensor = 1;int touch = 0;---------hopefully it will help someone else

hi,it seems like a really nice project. what would i need to do to change it from IR to RF ?

hi i have got a question. it seems you connected the female pin header in parallel.but i dont understand why you use a 110 ohm resistor?i.e. if you use ONE 3v led 20mA with this 9v batterie you would need 300 ohm and if i put a second (same) led in i would need 150 ohm
