Hrm. I've changed my values since then, and haven't recored the changes onto ibles. I'm setting my "Needed" to $850; and I don't have any money at the moment! (I used it to pay back Mom for a camera)

I'll figure that out when I get the money =p.

All I know is that it needs a large HDD and 802.11g wifi, which isn't a lot to ask for.
Also, USB slots. Lots.
And a decent battery life.
At least a GB of ram if running XP, at least 3 if running Vista.
A build in webcam would be nice.
CD burner
Weight/screen size don't matter to me.

I'm sure I'll figure something out.

Right now I'm aiming for a Dell Inspiron 1525.
It'll have probably at least:

1GB RAM
80GB HDD (I don't need a large HDD b/c I have an ext)
CD/DVD+RW drive,
LOTS of USBs
15.4 or 17 inch idk yet
Wifi (duh)
