Legally you have to be registered with U.S. Department of Interior and BIA as a Coastal Native, and all artwork made from the ivory has to have a trademark. Any Ivory Harvested has to be reported to the Dept of Fish and Game. There is fossilized ivory that you can find. Most Fossilized ivory comes from Woolly Mammoth or Mastodon. Most can be found in Alaska where I am from.
I'm a Jeweler and I often stack exotic woods and laminate gold or silver and wood to make earrings. I also use Ivory and ebony for rings.

I use super glue on the stripped screw-head, then use screwdriver after the screwdriver sticks to the screw. Usually works best on small electronic screws.
