How to Make a Voltage Inverter
first off, the tda2007 and the tda200a are both the same chip. secondly, WHY use a tda2007 when you can build the map with FAR fewer components with the tda2030, tda2040, or the tda2050. They are all 5 pin chip amplifiers, except for the wattage and voltage change, they're practically Identical chips. The tda2030 is rated for 14 watts at 12-14 volts, the tda2040 is rated for 20 watts at 20 volts, and the tda2050 is rated for 32 watts at 25 volts, where as the tda2007 is only 12 watts. OR even the 14 pin SIP la4440, rated at 19 watts BTL, 6+6 standard, and a voltage of 12 volts. I'm hoping to run it with a 9volt battery, but the input for the wallwart (which I don't have) says 15V. Do you think it will run on 9V if I'm only using the single speaker?what you could do it get you a 7.5 - 0 - 7.5 center tapped transformer, CUT the black lead (the one in the middle), and that would give you the 15 volts you need. if you're talking about DC voltage, then from there build a FULL BRIDGE RECTIFIER power supply complete with filtering caps, then add you a 7815 voltage regulator. This should ensure that the voltage does NOT pass more than 15 volts, and I would also use filtering caps on the output as well to keep out any stray hum from line voltage, which will ALSO provide you with voltage storage for when you're at full volume or hit low bass areas in a song. IT WILL NEVER BLINK AN EYE IF DONE CORRECTLY. you can also buy a power supply kit on Ebay that uses 4 10,000uf capacitors and will serve the same purpose, just to make it easier on you, however you'll be waiting 3 weeks or longer for it to come in because it's coming from china or HK, but it beats spending the time building it. as far as getting an 8x AA-Battery Pack, this would be a much better choice, ESPECIALLY if you get 2300mh rechargeable batteries to where you're not goung through batteries all the tome. ANY you can also add a switch, flip this wat to power the amplifier, and the other way to charge the batteries. the center will be completely off. you'll just have to mark the box which way is which.
