It's actually fairly difficult to put on without a "squire". The easiest way seems to be to scrunch-up the sleeves and slide into it (like a bro-tank I guess). Having someone to hold it up as well as pull it off of you afterwards helps a lot as far as not getting anything caught in the rings (hair, fingers, limbs, etc) :)
Yes, the strength of the weave pattern keeps the rings from falling apart under their own weight. Which is awesome because actually fusing the ends of the rings together would not only be very time consuming, but would make adjustments impossible
Thanks, I'm not exactly sure when I finished, but I would guess it took a couple months.
