I made my own antenna and used a impedance bridge from where I used to work to tune the antenna to 500 micro-Henries.
Absolutely not sarcastic. A simple solution to a problem. That's elegance.
Great project.Is that crossover a second-order filter?
I like this for emergencies. Rechargable, will charge a cell phone to full charge. Not bad for 10 bucks, 8 bucks if you have one of their 20% off coupons:https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/soundlogic-xt-portable-2600-mah-rechargeable-power-cell-power-bank/3248133?Keyword=battery+charger

How long do Nixie tubes last operating 24/7 before they fade out?
I suppose one could remove the drywall on both sides to make the shelves accessible from both rooms, like a kitchen and dining room.
I wonder if there's a gesture for "porca miseria".
Just in case someone would like to save the drive: All the drives that have gone sour on me went bad because the hatch wouldn't open. In all cases this was due to the rubber drive belt on the hatch motor drying up and losing its "grab". This can be fixed by buying silicone O-rings on eBay or other sites. A silicone O-ring of the right size will work as a drive belt better than the original, and it will last much longer. Just open the case and pull out the drawer, and drawer drive motor and its dried up belt will be visible. Can't figure why the manufacturers won't improve the reliability of their drives by utilizing a 20-cent O-ring.
Does this work in the VHF band if the elements are sized properly?
The electric motor in an old fridge is very recyclable. It's full of valuable copper wire. You could even get dinero for it by taking it to a metal recycling yard.
On the other hand I notice sometimes people whispering to each other and laughing while looking at me.
Take two orphan socks and make them into a pair. Sure they don't match. So??
Get a bunch of keys that are incorrectly cut for your door. Then hide them in a bunch of obvious hiding places. This way the burgulear will waste a lot of time going back and forth trying keys that won't work.
