Haha! My wife liked the way the bike looked hanging on the wall so much she wanted to hang it in the living room over the sofa.
It depends on the bike. My wife has the basically the same bike as mine but it's the women's version. Hers has an upper frame bar but it curves downward a bit. I was able to fit her in the rack but it hangs at a different angle. It actually worked really well because I was able to mount hers underneath mine and the offset angle keeps my tires from touching her bars.If you don't have a top bar at all I'm sure you could adapt it to fit the bottom bar or some other part of the frame.
I'm thinking of redoing it with better joinery and maybe selling them at craft shows. Glad you liked it!
The beauty of being able to make things for yourself is that you can adapt them to fit your own needs. :)
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
