pardon me if i come off as rude in this comment, but, have you every seen SPR? right before the battle on the bridge, when what's-his-face is draping the ammo over what's-his-face #2, #2 asks what FUBAR means. #1 says "it means f*cked up beyond all recognition." i also was in Barnes and Nobles, and i looked in a book full of WWII military acronymns. FUBAR was listed as "f*cked up beyond all recognition." i'm not saying that it can't be f*cked up beyond all repairs, but i just have never seen it to stand for that.
