I have always used a remedy that my mother always used on all 8 of us kids. Use a wash cloth and clear vinegar. You might want to be in the tub or shower to do this although mom never had us do that when we were kids. Take your cloth and mound it in your hand. Then take your vinegar an pour it on the cloth. Let it stay a little dripping, don't wring it out. Carefully run it across the skin. The excess will run down onto other burnt areas. Don't mix with water it won't work as well. This will take the fever out of the burn, heal it without itching and NO peeling! This has been a tried and true remedy for almost 50 years for me but it's older than that. It really works!
