Fire Art Safety and Construction Basics

Hey there! Just a couple quick things. First, when you mention about steel wool, make sure that you are using STAINLESS steel wool. Not just the normal stuff. Stainless steel wool is rated for a higher temperature. If you use normal steel wool for this it becomes brittle and will start to rain down hot pieces. Not good if its above a crowd. I noticed on the tank side of the fittings you used white teflon tape while on the effect side you used yellow tape. Technically both are valid options, just the yellow tape is thicker. At BM either tape is ok, just be aware that some local AHJs will want to see yellow throughout. You can also use pipe dope but you will want to make sure its rated for gas/propane. I normally keep the can of the stuff around if I use it to show the AHJ that it's the correct stuff.
