Jes they are. I also got two secondhand, but there have been leaked batterys in there, so they didn't worked too well, but then, my father repaired the motors!!! They now work great, and they are powerful too.

One of the keys to a good Instructable is good photography. Please, don't use photos where the important bits are too small to see, or out of focus. Well I love knex. And I made a vehicle with a REALLY fast speed. Using the All Terrain Trekker motor. I also have a 16 round K'nex gatling gun with a comfortable handle and true trigger.
