I love this project! It is really cool how you used junk and turned it into something that looks professional. Do the wicks that you salvaged work, or do they burn up too quickly?

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but I never needed a straw to make or use the blaster. There should be two openings on the finished project, one pipe to blow out of, and the other is where the marshmallow flies out of. I hope this answers your question.

Thanks for the comment! I remember hearing something about using vegetable oil or pine-sol to bring out the shine in the boots, but I didn't want to risk doing it the wrong way and ruining the boots. You said that you used to have jump boots, were you in the military?
