I know there are other Instructables on similar Solar ideas (and I'm slowly reading through many of them), but how would something like this fare in the N.E. (US) during Winter? The output measured maxed out your thermometer, so I wasn't sure if that number may be higher... or if similar results would be achievable.
Awesome!!! I am SO doing this! Tired of repairing the cheap "fiber board" dresser that does not stand up to a rough 12 YO Boy. I don't have a kreg tool, I have a knock-off sold by Harbor Freight. I intend on using your idea with the screws as well. Great job!
Very nice. What was the final overall length of your cable on this project? Did you note how much (if any) power loss was experienced because of its length?

Hello, how can this be applied to eliminate the "pulsing" or "flickering" of LED lighting on a motor vehicle (12V DC), caused by the pulse electrical signals sent to the LED's? I have 0 (zero) knowledge of these topics, but need to make modifications to accommodate LED driving lights added to a motorcycle. The lights flicker or strobe at anything higher than idle speed. I am told this will shorten the lifespan of the LED's, and I would prefer to fix the problem rather than replace the lights at frequent intervals. Thank You.
Very nice work... I am right with you on the OCD thing. I have one question that wasn't brought up, even though you mentioned you are not in an area where frost causes upheaval issues: Why a floating deck vs. anchoring it to the ground? My guess was cost, but thought I'd ask. Thanks!

Tough crowd on here! Lighten up Francis! Let's keep this on track with the "Be Nice Policy" of praise, suggestions, possible improvements, or ideas that derived from this one!
Excellent DIY project! I'm trying it!
