How To: DIY Home Automation With NodeMCU and Amazon Alexa
OK mate, thankyou...I've got to get some bits from Aliexpress and build this, I like your design, its simplePutting some home automation together, will use softpwm to drive the light globes from the Arduino. Will move it to an ESP-12F for a little "IoT" ;-)
HiyaWas going to grab the IGBT devices, had a look on the datasheet, very nice. Just opened up my Ali parcel and what was there, ESP-12F :-) Have code up there to control GPIO, will add some softpwm :-) Thanks for those links, I'll be buying a few things :-) My local retailer want $7.50AUD for a single 100uF 400vdc cap, they are $5 on Ali :-) Will take a few weeks but well worth it !
Hi There, I gather since there is up to 330v from the bridge rectifier, the capacitor (1000uF) needs to be rated at this voltage ?
Hi ThereStrip lighting is great under cupboard, hand rails, stairs etc. The fun begins when you automate them with soft start lighting, wireless remote control and then move to RGB to alter the colours. Well done with the lights....
