This is the actual mesh we used. Hope it helps :)

Sorry for the slow reply. We just bought outdoor paint from the local hardware store. It was just a nice redish brown.
Thanks kindly. In Australia, we have a hardware shop called Bunnings. It was a type of Pet Mesh from memory. It has a green coat over the wire and is nice and soft to the touch. It has been there a couple of years now, and still hasn't rusted, so it has proven to be great.
Thanks DaynaE. The timber slats are just Merbau that were already protected. The rest of the timber is Pine, and we got an outdoor Merbau paint from our local hardware store.
Thanks AmandaJ34. The cats are loving it, and use it daily.
Thanksfor this fantastic design, and taking the time to put the instructionstogether.Wealso wanted an outdoor Cat Habitat, and all the options for purchasing weresimply way overpriced, and mostly just ugly.Whenwe stumbled across your Instructable, we knew instantly that the design wouldwork for us. We liked the timber design.Wejust made this over Christmas (December, 2015), and it took about 5 x 1/2 daysfrom beginning to end.Wemade a few modifications, but largely what we built was based on your plans.Attachedare images of our final build.Thankyou again.
