I found this image on Google, this is exactly what I'm doing. All the wires are switching at the same time with S1 (4dpdt switch). Make sure you solder the cables in the same order. It could cause a short circuit if you make a mistake. I checked the wiring with a multimeter before I tested it with PC and laptop. If you have more questions. Feel free to ask. It is switching both, power and data, if you would only switch data, it could cause problems with connectivity. Your PC or laptop probably would'nt recognize the usb device.
