hey Jordan,I think that would depend on the diameter of the pearl, if you would take a small one I think you would be okay, but with a bigger one it would be harder as the concave wouldn't be deep enough to keep it in firm enough. You may have to go with a pearl with a hole through it for a necklace for instance and use the concave as well as two small pins that would stick into the hole from both sides to keep it in there securely. That would make it a lot harder to set and align though.Good luck!
