Greg,You might try sanding down, (roughing up) the plastic on the inside of the cooler a bit, and using the plastic epoxy used by Tjax77. MAYBE, if that doesn't work, another thing to try is the two-step PVC glue that is used to glue PVC pipes together. First step is a purple cleaner, and the second is the glue.
I typically use a larger rather than smaller cooler. With a small cooler, if you add a bag of ice, there is hardly any room left for food.Perhaps my best tip is to freeze bottled water, and use it as ice. This way, when it melts, it is contained, and doesn't get everything wet.
I just made this a favorite so that I don't forget about it.What a great idea! My mom used to make grilled cheese sandwiches, with american cheese, or velveta, and slices of tomatoes. This is just a little twist, but a great idea! Thanks!
Hobo pie pizza!
JimH05, Perhaps you can add a couple images of what the PVC connectors look like once cut. It sounds clever.
Mini Project #6: DIY Pace Counter
Initially I thought that the hinge was on the left side of the door, and wondered what closed it after the rodent escaped. Upon closer inspection, I see that the HINGE IS ON TOP, and gravity closes the door.Good job! :)
Make your own quick and easy zip tie & ply mini boat - maximum fun for the least money!
Garbage bags, and a heavy duty clip, large enough to attach it to the table.A cutting board is nice to have, (Plastic easy to clean) if nothing else, it is a clean place to lie your utensils while cooking, and it won't blow away :)I like to use a large handled utility scrub brush for doing the dishes. http://cdn.mscdirect.com/global/images/ProductImag...Although you mentioned a lantern, a headlamp is also very handy as it gives directed light, and leaves your hands free, maybe that belongs in another to-go box?How about spare batteries for the lantern?
Ultimate Camp Box
In bonus mode, you might snap on, or velcro on the seat to the wooded cross board. It can be a three sided bag, or with more material a four sided box.
