For your coilgun, how did you trigger the relay with a 9.6 volt battery and use it for charging your caps? I thought under loads the relay needed a healthy 12 volts? Also, can you please PM me some pictures of the frame, and how you built it? I have a coilgun but just need a frame. This looks good.
