Punk Love Designs

About: Summer 2012, I moved out of NYC with one goal: find a way to get paid to hike. Since then I’ve been developing my nature inspired ink work, working on my master naturalist certification, and huffing it up and down mountains. I like to use my background in biology to find those cool things hiding in the nooks and crannies, even in the dead of winter, and to render such with an anatomical level of detail. As an artist I specialize in solid shape and line mixed media work with a focus on punk rock stylings, Graf methodologies, and pen and ink roots. I paid my way through college making custom longboards, and loved the way the limitations shaped the media - an oblong, odd shaped board with a notable amber finish, a tendency to get dirty, and a need to carry a surprising image seen only briefly.
