Ok, so I soldered the wires for the HC-SR04 sensor on the motor shield instead of putting them in the Arduino and putting the shield over them (some people have trouble with that).What you need to know is that there is no on/off switch. As soon as you give power to the motor shield, it will also power the Arduino. Four AA batteries are enough for both the motors and the Arduino.If any of the wheels are spinning in the wrong direction, just revers that motors wires in the motor shield.
